The Why:

They're all titled "S.O.S." Why else???

There are multiples of overlapping song titles all around the world, but you don't come across this one often. I love to interweave songs from different styles and genres when I find something in common among them. In this case, it's their title.

*There might be many more songs named "S.O.S." but these are the only 3 I know.

The How:

Joseph's and ABBA's songs are both in a major key, and have a slightly similar tempo, Rihanna's song doesn't bear much similarity to either song, but I wanted to take the challenge and include it somehow. The mash-up's structure follows that of Joseph's song at the core, and has lines and melodies from the other two layered into it. I kept it in the key of D so I could follow the Joseph version's accompaniment. Below is the outline and chord chart of the entire mash-up. I color-coded the different songs in my own copy, but here you'll see it better as I use bold/italic/underline to show how each song's lines are identified.
